This week, the other SLAMMERs and I worked extensively on an exhibit list in order to help prepare for trial in a couple of weeks. This assignment emphasized how much preparation and detail is required to represent your client fervently. Going into my last year of law school, I know that I want to litigate, and being able to learn from a powerhouse like Amy is something I will never take for granted. I am beyond lucky to witness her expertise and passion for the law.

This week, I drafted more deposition summaries and worked with Ms. Amy and the other Slammers on trial prep. It is really a great experience to see first-hand how the firm comes together and prepares for Ms. Amy to go to trial. I really appreciate Mr. Bark for assigning the deposition summaries as these summaries have allowed me to hone my legal writing skills. I appreciate the fact that every week I am challenged and given more assignments that play a huge role in my growth as an aspiring attorney.

This week I took the opportunity to really reflect on my experience at SLG. The growth that I have experienced is due to the awesome attorneys that have taken the time to pour wisdom and guidance into me this summer. I specifically want to thank Ms. Keisha Crane for the life lessons and for always taking time out of her busy schedule to talk to me about my career aspirations and goals. I will forever be thankful for our talks and her mentorship. SLG has been such a positive experience and an opportunity that I will never forget!
