Meet the Team—From Athletes to Trainers to Attorneys
Founding Partner, Amy M. Stewart, brings a unique background to Higher Education with advanced resolutions within her clients’ needs.
In addition to her civil trial experience, she serves on the Anomaly Sport Group board, “Working to protect and educate athletes at all levels beyond their sport.” Amy negotiates employment contracts on behalf of university athletic directors, participated as a student advocate in Title IX investigations, and provides advice and counsel to aspiring coaches and professional athletes.
Andrew F. Rhoden brings a distinctive approach to higher education law with ten years of working as a football coach at both NCAA Division I institutions and the high school level prior to entering the legal realm.
Since his time in the legal realm, he has provided guidance and representation to universities around the country. Andrew has experience in litigation, corporate, and employment law matters, in addition to being a nationally certified Level Two Civil Rights Investigator.
He has developed training programs for higher education institutions such as sexual violence prevention; name image and likeness (NIL); the Clery Act; and protected civil rights areas such as Title VII and Title IX. Andrew’s experience in higher education law has led to him presenting regularly at universities and academic associations across the country, in addition to being a resource for media entities on various subject areas in the field.
