Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Morgan earned her law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2015. During law school, Morgan was a Staff Writer for The Scholar: St. Mary’s Law Review on Race and Social Justice along with serving as President of the Black Law Student Association, Regional Secretary of the Rocky Mountain Black Law Student Association, and interning for the Office of the Attorney General, Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid and Bexar County Criminal District Courts Administration.
Prior to joining the Stewart Law Group, Morgan was in-house counsel for a county appraisal district where she managed a large commercial litigation docket of cases. During her tenure, she was able to decrease outside counsel fees by over 60% and resolve over 2,500 cases totaling over $1billion in property value. Before transitioning into civil litigation, Morgan served as an Assistant District Attorney in Bexar County where she primarily handled family violence cases as well as other Class A misdemeanors.
Morgan is multifaceted and capable of adapting and thriving in any situation. She is the epitome of a team player – whether you are up by 10 or down by 20 – because she is going to leave it all on the court.
