This week at Stewart Law Group, the other interns and I researched trending legal topics in the labor and employment division and will begin working on an article series next week. I was able to prepare several discovery summaries for an associate and I am beginning to draft an answer and an ILP for another associate. Every week I learn more and cannot thank SLG enough for this incredible opportunity!

This week at Stewart Law Group, I was asked to draft reply briefs for different cases, a motion to sever, and a memorandum. I really enjoy that SLG is continuously helping me refine and develop my legal writing skills. The highlight of my week was working with the senior associate and the other interns to come up with ideas to write an article collectively. SLG has really shown me what it is like to work as a team.

This week at Stewart Law Group, I continued to assist associates with various tasks such as drafting letters updating clients on the status of cases and summarizing expert reports. I was also able to begin researching and collaborating with other interns on trending legal topics. Throughout the week, I was so grateful for the helpful guidance and feedback the attorneys provided to prepare me for success throughout law school. I am so thankful for my time at SLG!

This week at Stewart Law Group, I had the opportunity to help Ms. Keisha and Ms.Tiffany research different issues for a case in Georgia. I really loved this opportunity because I had never encountered the issues that we were researching. This assignment really forced me to step outside of my comfort zone and gave me the chance to expand my legal researching abilities. I am grateful for my experiences at SLG and the opportunity to grow as a woman and as a future attorney!
